MUSIC CHOIR                                                             Portuguese  



Founded in 1993, it makes part of a wide-range school project ( the "Up-With-School Project") and it is formed by teachers, students, former students as well as school porters, school office workers and other members of the school community.

It aims at making choir music known and creating solidarity bonds.

The repertoire includes traditional Portuguese music, American spirituals and gospel, sacred erudite music, Christmas Carols and a Christmas cantata - a medley of pieces of classical music and traditional songs.

From the early days of its foundation the choir has been conducted by Maestro João Paulo Reya.
